Girl Time Dance Party Activities

Ideally activities for your Girl Time Dance Party will include dancing. Create a dance floor with a mirror ball or an area to do barre exercises. Play some music and have the girls show each other their moves.

Enlist a local dance instructor or older girls on the high school dance team to come in and teach the girls some basic steps or choreograph a short dance routine. Be sure to take plenty of video.

If your party is for girls in the birthday girl’s dance class, show videos from recitals and have them practice their latest dances from class.

When the girls are tired of dancing, have them pamper their feet with a spa foot bath and pedicures. Stock up on all the essentials and provide each guest with a mini bottle of nail polish.

Finish the party off with a marathon of dance movies such as Save the Last Dance, Center Stage, or High School Musical. Make sure the movies are appropriate to the age group.

Decorations for a Girl Time Dance Birthday Party

Your dance or birthday party will look fantastic with these simple decorating tips!

Start your decorating with the Girl Time Dance Party Kit. The kit includes Girl Time dance tableware, invitations, silver star confetti, lavender pearl balloons, pink pearl balloons, silver curling ribbon and a silver star plastic tablecover. The Deluxe Kit also includes a 10” x 30” personalized banner, a Girl Time Dance mylar balloon, pink crepe streamers, lavender crepe streamers and silver spiral candles. Coordinate the rest of your decorations to this kit for a chic look.

Welcome guests to your party with a pink star personalized banner. It’s printed on heavy-duty, weather-resistant vinyl with your custom wording for a great birthday message. Plus, our banners are available in seven different sizes to suit your needs. New Attach-N-Go banners are even easier to use too!

Accent your party décor with milky way star garland wrapped around banisters or the edge of tables. Use it to hang holographic shimmer stars from the ceiling or doorways for a great finish.

Gossamer is a great choice for creating backdrops for your decorations. Use purple or pink gossamer to create swags, drapes or curtains. Gossamer is wonderful for covering walls and it really makes your theme décor pop.

Add some metallic curtains to your doorways for some extra pizzazz. A silver metallic curtain is a great choice for this theme.

Use balloon bunches to fill out your party space. Pink and lavender pearl tone balloons are a great match for this theme. Tie balloons in bunches of odd numbers (3, 5, 7) with silver curling ribbon and attach them to star-shaped balloon weights. Add a Girl Time Dance mylar balloon for a perfect accent.

Create a personalized wall mural with your favorite recital picture or a photo of your dance team. These personalized decorations will make a great focal point for your party and a treasured keepsake for the guest of honor.

Table Decorations:

A coordinated table is a simple way to tie all your decorations together and create a focus for your party. Decorate your party tables with the Girl Time Dance Party Kit.

Start by covering the table with a silver star plastic table cover or pink gossamer material. Over the top, sprinkle silver star confetti and place a Girl Time centerpiece—a 3D star—in the center. You can jazz your table up even more my tying balloons to the back of chairs or anchoring them to a star shaped balloon weight around the centerpiece.

Next, set each place with Girl Time Dance tableware. Each placesetting is coordinated with the table decorations for an awesome look. Create cutlery bundles using Girl Time Dance napkins and curling ribbon or a small piece of milky way garland.

Party favors also make great table decorations. Use marabou slap bracelets as napkin rings and place a tube of silver body glitter at each place.

Dance to Fun with Girl Time Dance Party Invitations

A Girl Time Dance Party is a great kit for your dance recital celebrations, slumber parties and birthdays for your dancer. Our Girl Time Dance Party Kit has tableware and great decorations for your party. Once you’ve settled on this theme, choose a party slogan to be used in invitations, custom banners and personalized party favors.  Here are our ideas:
• “Dance on over to Maggie’s house for a birthday bash!”
• “Sarah’s dance party will have you spinning with fun!”
• “Swing on over to Rachel’s dance party!”

Once you’ve selected your slogan, create invitations to send out to your guests. The Girl Time Dance Party Kit comes with a paper invitation that you can write your party details on. Add a pinch of confetti to the envelopes for some extra pizzazz.

If you can hand out your invitations in person, create invitation tags on the computer and attach them with curling ribbon to small favors such as glitter yo-yos, small bottles of nail polish, or bottles of bubbles.
